Michael founded Vanderbilt Search Group in June of 2013. Prior to that time, Mike last worked for close to 9 years at Executive Resources International (ERI) in Boston, where they had a focus on search assignments in the Banking world. Prior to ERI, where Mike was SVP of their Banking & Insurance focus areas, he was with Global Atlantic Partner's Financial Services Practice, as their Managing Director. He also has successfully handled a variety of assignments for IT/Software and Finance positions through his search work with other firms.

Prior to entering the executive recruiting field, Michael had extensive corporate Human Resource experience, which included serving as the Director of Human Resources, Training and Product Development with Lexington Insurance Company, Director of Human Resources, Employee Benefits and Risk Management for Chelsea Industries and for a division of ITT (Continental Baking Company), and Manager of Risk Management for The Nestle Company.

Mike has served on the Board of Directors of Bay State Health Care, the Advisory Committee for American Management Association (AMA)'s "Compensation and Benefits Review" magazine, been an instructor for the Certified Employee Benefits Specialists (CEBS)'s program and has been the facilitator of a large job transition group. Michael holds a Masters from Emmanuel College, and a Bachelors from Pace University. In addition, he also holds the CPCU, ARM, ALCM, and CEBS professional designations. Michael is a member of the Ocean Edge Golf Club in Brewster, MA and Vanderbilt Country Club in Naples, FL.

Beth joined Vanderbilt Search Group in 2014, with a focus on doing candidate research to support VSG's various client assignments. Beth's primary focus is in the Credit area, as a number of our clients are looking for Credit Analysts, Portfolio Managers, Credit Officers and Senior Credit Executives.

Beth is also happy to advise credit professionals on any opportunities we have for moving to the Commercial Lending side of a bank, should a candidate be looking for a career path different than strictly credit.
